Swipe Files Are A Benefit For Internet Marketing
Maybe you've heard of the expression, swipe file, or maybe you haven't. If you're serious about selling on the Internet, you should not only become familiar with this term but use it to your advantage.
A "swipe" is a term used for swiping an excellent example of writing from someone else. It can be from their website, blog post, sales copy, or forum comments. To you, it is a perfect use of words and if it resonates with you, it probably resonates with others too. A "swipe file" is your ongoing list of writing that you've collected.
The benefit of swiping files is to help you write your own sales copy, headline or squeeze page, etc. You swipe them to help you learn and give you ideas of how to do your own; you DO NOT copy them verbatim onto your own sales page. This will get you in trouble in so many ways. Not only is this plagiarism, but you're also ruining your credibility and reputation.
Here are some swipe files you can set up:
Headlines
Headlines from all sorts of sales copy that grab your attention. This swipe file will demonstrate the stringing together of some magical headline wording, as well as color, font, and style.
Sales copy
This will probably be your biggest file. If it's not, build it up because it's very important. Check out the sales pages of the gurus. They pay copywriters big bucks to write the best copy for a reason - good copy sells. And that's what you want to do - sell your product. Check out the fonts, font size, placement of everything including graphics, bullets, testimonials, guarantee, etc.
Squeeze page
If you've never done a squeeze page before, pay attention to the squeeze pages you've signed up on. Squeeze pages need to be direct and clean. They tell a person what they're getting in an eye-pleasing way. Figure out what makes the offer irresistible.
Bullet points
Bullets are hard for a lot of people to write, yet so important. Keeping a swipe file of bullet point examples helps you figure out what to put so your bullet points tap into the needs of the person reading your sales page.
Website layouts
Perhaps you're putting together a service website for, let's say, your virtual assistant services. How do other virtual assistants have their websites set up? Compare, get ideas, generate some new ideas, and make yours even better.
Email subject lines
Pay attention to what makes you open an email and save those examples in an email subjects swipe file.
Each swipe file heading should be set up as individual folders. That way you add the swipes to the individual folders and you're able to easily find what you want when it comes time to study, analyze, and create your own.
If you market on the Internet, you probably spend quite a bit of time reading and researching various aspects. While you're doing that, have your swipe files set up and ready to go so you can simply add to them every time you come across some particularly good copy.
Here's a tip - when you look at each particular swipe file you've put together, analyze what you've collected. What does each piece have in common? What exactly did you like about them? Why? How did it make you feel? How can you make yours even better?
Having swipe files is an important learning tool for you
if you are an Internet Marketer and the sooner you
start, the sooner you'll be on your way to writing your
own great headlines, powerful sales copy, and intriguing
email subject lines.
Improve The Usability Of Website With Well-designed Headings
When people go online in order to seek information, they usually end up utilizing means in order to best find the content they are looking for. At the end of the day, when they are able to determine if a web page contains the information they are looking for, they become better equipped in searching, deciphering, and even choosing the information they want to access at any given point, but particularly through search engines.
Headings play a particularly important role when it comes to finding information online, and secondly, facilitating the use of the website within which the content or information desired is to be found. It can be illustrated in two-fold scenarios, one before the website is found, and one when the user is already within the website.
Headings in hypertext protocol or HTML are a group of text rich with content, usually composed of primary keywords that give a clue or idea about the content of the website. In general terms, a heading is a line or hierarchical label that informs the users as to the content of the website, alongside pertinent information as regards the nature of this content.
When it comes to searching for particular websites, headings play a pivotal role in having the page show up at all in the results of any search engine query. Search engines, when they "crawl" through the Internet looking for relevant information and related websites, usually put into consideration the heading. Headings are so important here that in order to search engine optimize one's website, many believe that it must then contain major keywords that truly characterize the content of the page.
Moreover, aside from the HTML content rich code headings, it's also important to put primacy upon the heading that is present within the main text body displayed on the website. This is the huge hierarchical label or title that gives the readers an idea of what is contained in the page.
In search engine results, these in-text headings are extremely important because they are what most search engines use in order to label each individual link derived from the search. This then can then determine if the user will find the heading relevant enough to the search he or she is looking for. By providing an efficient heading, one is already providing a great convenience to the user by making the website readily accessible and usable.
More importantly, once the user is already within the realms of the website, headings in particular guide them as they explore its complete contents. When the heading reflects effectively the very content of a single page, the website as a whole is made more usable as no page is designed to mislead the user into thinking the information he or she is looking for is within that page.
Another great function of headings in a website that may be used to subdivide various information contained in them is that it facilitates the scanning through of information of users in a page. As it is, users are oftentimes not interested on the content found in its entirety in a page, but only a particular part of it. By allowing them to be guided by headings, websites become more usable, friendly, and convenient for all its users.
Moreover, it gives users a general idea about the hierarchical structure of the website and how information is organized. The flow of this information, and the understanding of the users of this particular flow, is of importance to users as this could very well determine their understanding of the concepts explored in the information presented.
Headings also imply that when users scan for information they need selectively, they may pick out particular portions of the text in between headings without necessarily compromising understandability and being taken out of context.
The most convenient use of headings is when text-heavy pages utilize a small portion of table of contents at the top of the page, where the information is subdivided into their respective headings. In this way, users are already able to have a general understanding of what the website contains in a direct and straightforward manner. Thus, if the table of contents is also link-activated, it will allow for them to skip only to the information they need.
At the end of the day, headings improve a website's usability by simplifying information made available to users and organizing them into a format most convenient. It allows for users to first, find the information they need through a search engine, and once within the website, determine and scan through the text easily in order to find the information they need in a short time and with very little trouble.

Are You Making Mistakes With Email Marketing?
Do you continuously send out emails and it feels like no one is home? Sometimes it seems like you're talking at a brick wall because you get no responses. You feel like your emails are not getting read. In fact, you have a low "open" rate and you wonder why you even bother sending emails. Is the problem you or them? Take a look at these email mistakes and see if you're making any of them.
1. Hello {!firstname} (the actual name goes here, not the word firstname.) This never looks good. It means you're too busy to test or you're not sure what you're doing. Always test your emails and send them to yourself first. Check them with an eagle eye and catch errors like the above plus an blatant grammatical errors. Be a professional email marketer.
2. Free, eliminate debt, offer, bonus, discount, won, deal, money, sign up now, guaranteed, work from home... These are considered spam words or phrases and will likely get your email rerouted to the subscriber's spam trap by their email provider. Get a list of current spam words with a quick Internet search. Be creative and find other words to say what you want to say that aren't considered spam.
3. "You Can Make $20,000 in 30 days!!" Your email subject line has to be believable. With so many emails to open every day, this sort of subject line will help people decide they definitely don't want to open your email. Your emails need to build your credibility as someone who is trustworthy. Don't destroy it by using subject lines and content that are unbelievable.
4. Long emails with huge paragraphs. People are short on time and in a hurry. They don't want to read long emails with big boring paragraphs. Remember, it's about them, not you. Make your emails entertaining and short, and get to the point. Chop long paragraphs into small paragraphs to add white space and make it easier to read. If you make your email easier to read, the odds are better that they'll actually read it and see your call to action.
5. Make every single email a product promotion. People opted into your list to receive valuable information that you've promised to deliver via email. If your emails only contain promotion after promotion, they'll stop reading your emails. They might not opt out right away, but that's the next step. Of course you want to promote to your list, but not all the time. Send helpful info, free reports, etc. and they're more likely to open and read your emails. Remember, people open emails with a "What's In It For Me?" frame of mind.
Take some time and analyze what you've been sending out to your list of subscribers. A list, preferably a big list, can be the bread and butter for an internet marketer. But you have to send quality emails or your emails won't even be opened, let alone read. Take steps today to make your emails something you'd be happy to receive yourself.

Growing Your Opt-in Mailing List

While getting traffic to your website is very important, it's not going to mean much if they visit you once and never return. To keep them interested in you and your products, you need to bring them into your fold. In other words, you want them on your list. That way you can give them helpful information, establish a relationship of trust, and market your outstanding products to them.
Have an opt-in box in the top fold of your website. That means those who come to your site will see the box without having to scroll down. You have a better chance of catching them this way, since people often only spend seconds to a few minutes on a website and don't want to bother with scrolling down.
You might have an opt-in box, but what is it for? It should be there to offer something free, irresistible, and valuable to your target market in exchange for their email address. People are savvy on the Internet these days so you have to bring your "A" game. You want to give value so people think, "Wow, this guy knows his stuff. I'm going to stick with him and see what else he knows." The offer should be irresistible in that you know something they might not and this could help them out. These are hungry people, targeted people, people who just might buy from you.
Another way to grow your list is to offer a free product in a giveaway event. The premise here is to offer something of value and if people perusing the giveaway event like the look of your product and your squeeze page, they will opt-in to get said product. Now, these opt-ins are not necessarily going to stay on your list. They might opt in for the free gift and opt right out again. At first you feel rejected by these freebie seekers, but it's best they get off your list right away or they'll be the ones calling "spam" on any email you send them in the future.
It is true that people who join your list for the freebie in the giveaway are probably not targeted customers, but some will be. It's a numbers game; 700 people grabbing your product at a giveaway and 300 of them opting out the next month leaves you with 400 targeted potential customers. And that's 400 people on your list you didn't previously have, right?
An additional way to increase your list is to set up a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) on the Warrior Forum and instead of selling a product you've created, offer it for free with opt-in. Marketers do this to not only grow their lists, but to get testimonials and feedback that will help them make their product better. A lot of these people might just be looking for the next free thing, but they also end up learning from you and will be your loyal supporter.
These three ideas, having an opt-in enticement, joining giveaways, and offering a product for free on the Warrior Forum, are some of the ways you can grow your list. Remember getting a big list is not an overnight thing for a relatively unknown marketer; it will be an ongoing but worthwhile process.

Social Networks
Social
Networks
Social Networks, like Myspace, Squidoo, etc... are a great way to get your ideas and products in front of a lot of eyeballs. Most (if not all) of these places allow you to create a "profile" that people will see. Inside that profile, you can (carefully) direct your traffic to either you main sites or directly to your products.
I would suggest that you interact with the networks and gently push your traffic to your main sites/products. Otherwise, you will get a reputation as a spammer and your profile deleted. So, be careful!!

Motivate Your Downline With An Autoresponder
Many affiliate marketers have a hard time building a downline, and an even harder time keeping downline members motivated and selling. If your income depends on the sales of others, you should strongly consider keeping them motivated with autoresponders.
You can load your autoresponder with positive messages, sales tips, and news related to the product or service that is being sold. Many affiliates fail simply because they don't know how to market a product, and they have little or no support from affiliate managers or up line members! With the use of autoresponders, all of that can change.
You should definitely write on some marketing tips, specific to your product or service, and set you downline members up in the mailing list for that series of messages. Send broadcast messages once a month congratulating the top sellers. Send short motivational articles that will keep your downline member upbeat.
Failing to communicate with your downline members is the same as ensuring that they fail at the business in most cases. If you want to succeed in affiliate marketing, you have to take steps to help your downline succeed!

Opt-in Emailing Tips
Opt-in email refers to those promotional e-mails sent to individuals who have requested to receive them. Not like spam, wherein promotional emails are sent to a large number of recipients without considering whether such individuals want the information, opt-in emails generally are sent only to individuals who particularly requested for them.
Opt-in e-mails often are personalized, targeted and convey information regarding specific promotions or topics that clients are interested and concerned to learn about.
Usually opt-in e-mails include product information, newsletters, helpful articles and advices or special advertising offers. When for instance a user frequents a certain website selling music and books online, he can "opt in" to accept publications or notices each time his favorite musician or author releases a new material; promotional e-mails may also grant the user with a discounted offer only available for individuals in the "opt-in" list.
Even though this direct targeted email marketing and promotion is more expensive compared to bulk unsolicited email, surveys do reveal that this is more effective.
Opt-in email has many forms. The 'single opt-in" list is established by inviting or requesting users to sign up through a "web form". The moment they send the form, they are enrolled to be a member of that list.
You can take it a little further by adding another step, which is requiring all recent members to confirm or verify their subscription through email; this list then is commonly referred to as a 'double opt-in".
Confirmed or verified opt-in authenticates and supports that the email list truly is approved; this came to be the basis for qualifying the list as a recognized, "non-spam" method of communication in the business.
There are several businesses on the internet that can rent you a list of email addresses of individuals who opted to accept a commercial email. In most cases, they in actuality are not renting the list as you will not have any chance of seeing the concrete list. These companies charge a fee for every email address that they mail your message to.
As long as all who receives the email are not paid in order that they read the messages, as long as they are truly interested with the offers that they have signed up, this method of marketing may be profitable.
The problem here in most cases is that they charge between 10-20 cents per email address as well as mailing it to a considerable amount of list so to obtain wonderful results; this can be relatively expensive. However when you can afford it, you will create excellent targeted traffic.
What about "opt-in series" email promotion?
Opt-in 'series" email promotion or marketing works in such a way that you offer a charming and appealing free sample, gift, article or giveaway at your website, generally works successfully through a pop window and when visitors collects their freebie, then they are obliged to type in their email address and name. Now they are already subscribed to receive a series of your personalized and scheduled email reports and messages pre-written by you. The best series type is that which supplies free helpful and valuable information regarding a certain subject that can solve your customers" problem.
A good quality "email series" will establish good relationships with prospect clients, which is something is more valuable and a point that is often overlooked by many online businesses. This approach can be personalized and fully automated as soon as you have done the structuring and setup work.
Here are guidelines so to be safe:
1. Never purchase someone else's "opt-in lists". The clients who opted or choose to receive email messages in that certain list wants receive email information from somebody else and not you.
2. Never purchase and use those types of programs called 'millions of email addresses plus a bulk emailer program".
3. Never sell your email list to someone else as well. Clients want to receive mail from you because in the first place, they want the information that you are providing them.
4. Consider a 'double-opt-in" email procedure when gathering your very own list of emails from your website.
5. Do not use false header on your messages. Meaning, do not attempt to conceal your identity.
6. Never advertise or promote your website on all mailing lists newsletter whereby it was not collected through 'double-opt-in".
7. Without delay, fulfill and meet any request of removal from the list. Create a link that is simple to follow on all emails that you send.
When working on a plan, begin by asking yourself and determining the amount of e-mail addresses that you desire to obtain each month. Then, figure out the location or where your target clients frequent as well as the cost in order to obtain visitors to your website so you can invite or request them to "opt-in" to your list.

To Search Engine Optimization Or To Pay Per Click?
At the same time, the internet also poses a quite different challenge. The easy access that internet provides also gives you as much competition as you can imagine. It is too crowded and congested.
Having a website is not enough to make your business running and able to compete. You must take other alternatives to give way for the online community to access your website at any rate or chance possible.
You have to expose your website. Make it known. It has to be visible. It has to be frequently targeted by consumers and surfers.
Invest in marketing your internet site. There are basically two options available to you, the SEO and PPC. These two are probably the most desirable alternatives you can get for your internet business as strategy for search engine marketing.

More Than Just Basic Elements For Your Web Site
Just don't focus on the home page, keywords and titles. The first step to sales when customers visit your site to see the products they were looking for. Of course, search engine optimization and better rankings can't keep your customer on your site or make them buy. The customer having visited your site, now ensure that he gets interested in your products or services and stays around. Motivate him to buy the product by providing clear and unambiguous information. Thus if you happen to sell more than one product or service, provide all necessary information about this, may be by keeping the information at a different page. By providing suitable and easily visible links, the customer can navigate to these pages and get the details.
Understanding Your Target Customer If you design a website you think will attract clients, but you don't really know who your customers are and what they want to buy, it is unlikely you make much money. Website business is an extension or replacement for a standard storefront. You can send email to your existing clients and ask them to complete a survey or even while they are browsing on your website. Ask them about their choices. Why do they like your products? Do you discount prices or offer coupons? Are your prices consistently lower than others? Is your shipping price cheaper? Do you respond faster to client questions? Are your product descriptions better? Your return policies and guarantees better than your competitor's? To know your customer you can check credit card records or ask your customer to complete a simple contact form with name, address, age, gender, etc. when they purchase a product.
Does your website give enough contact information? When you sell from a website, your customer can buy your products 24 hrs a day and also your customers may be from other states that are thousands of miles away. Always provide contact information, preferably on every page of your website, complete with mailing address, telephone number and an email address that reaches you. People may need to contact you about sales, general information or technical problems on your site. Also have your email forwarded to another email address if you do not check your website mailbox often. When customer wants to buy online provide enough options like credit card, PayPal or other online payment service.

Search Engine Marketing
All bloggers know that a well-written, entertaining and focused blog can generate huge volumes of traffic from visitors. This is one of the basic learnings in blogging: blogs should be focused and centered on a topic and other related issues.
Search engine marketing is simply the process of getting your blog and its content sufficiently high ranking in several search engines for your keywords. This would enable your content to generate more visitors to your site from SERPs or Search Engine Results Pages. Attention-grabbing content titles and sites help users to feel compelled to click on your link in the search engine results pages and eventually visit you.
Additionally, search engine marketing needs a Web site that is optimized for search engines. Normally, this is a Web site that can display a configuration setting that makes it look interesting to search engine spiders. In turn, the spiders will visit the site and look at your content. After doing this, the spiders then pick up significant keywords, which determine the characteristic of your page. Lastly, the content returns to the search engines for the purpose of being indexed.
Enhancing Search Engine Marketing
Nowadays, blogs are making tons of small news Web sites or mini content centers that contain significant information and links. Compared in the past, search engines visit major news Web sites since they were the ones who were the ultimate sources for the newest content to be found online. Blogs have outpaced several media outlets online due to their capability to deliver and publish fresh information to the public faster.
The key in getting noticed more by the search engines is to publish faster. Since search engines looks for the freshest, high value and relevant information, it is important for you to publish frequently. This would get your blog more visits from major search engines and others.
Blogs have a natural relationship with search engines. Since blogs are natural search engine magnets, the search engine spiders will visit your blog often if they detect an update from it. In addition, the content of your blog does not have to wait for months before getting into search engine result pages but instead, your content will be displayed in a matter of hours or days.
It is important to know how much the search engine can do for your blog. Blogs should be frequently updated to allow the search engine spider to visit you often, since they are normally programmed to visit your blog as often as you publish fresh contents.
Reasons Why Blogs Rank Well in Search Results
Firstly, blogs are designed to meet the demands for search traffic and search engines. Blogs are also highy significant in their niches and are considered as the best sources of the most up-to-date information online. More so, blogs can be keyword optimized. Keyword Optimization helps blogs achieve high rankings in search engine results. Additionally, wisely distributing the keywords evenly on the content can also help your blog rank easily on search engine results.
Compared to Web sites, blogs are also text-rich publishing tools. This only means that the code used by blogs is light weight. This makes your blog's content highly visible to search engines. Search engine spiders can visit your blog frequently and crawl over your content faster because of greater clarity. This clarity provides a vivid interpretation of what the content of your blog is all about. (read more)
Why Start An Ezine?
Let the truth be told, out of all of the elements of my entire online business for the last 10 years there is one that has consistently put the most money in my pocket, my ezine.
Even though there are probably too many lists to opt in to as it is (especially in the Internet marketing niche), I still have to recommend people start one up and start generating subscribers, as I think for the amount of time you put in to run an online list (very little), the return is well worth it.
But, here is the thing- People online are starting to unsubscribe from many lists lately because of lack of quality. You need to be creating quality.
If you aren't producing quality content, then subscribers to your list, no matter what topic you are covering, are going to start unsubscribing in droves.
It is not only incredibly important to succeed online to build a list, but it is now more important than ever to start building a real relationship with that list, and nurturing it by offering serious value.
The people who grasp that concept are going to be the ones making a lot of money with email marketing in the future. So far, people have gotten away with low or no content, but that will surely change soon.
Put yourself in your subscribers' shoes. Why would you stay subscribed if you just get bombarded with offer after offer and get no benefit?
You need to make your ezine a worthwhile read for people to want to read it! If you do that, the profits will follow.

Writing Emails
After you build up your email list, you are ready to actually write the emails. However, right before you start, you will need to decide if you want to send an HTML email versus an all-text one. HTML emails, which can be sent through email marketing services or email software, (both of which will be discussed more in detail in Chapter Three), utilize HTML coding to make an email look like that of a web page. They contain graphics, interactive forms and clickable links.
They are visually more appealing than text-based emails and can increase response rate, since they allow you to cloak affiliate links, (which will be discussed in the upcoming sections). Additionally, it doesn't take much more effort to make them. How do you do this? Some email marketing services will allow you to make them through their network; otherwise you can use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word to create them. All you would have to do is select "Save As" HTML document once you are finished and you have an HTML email.
The downside to HTML emails is that sometimes the images don't load, which can give your email a spam-like appearance. Even if they do load, there is no guarantee they will look right once it is sent over. Emailing a sample HTML email to yourself can help you determine what it is going to look like, though be aware that just like any other web page, HTML emails load differently depending on the browser that is used.
If you want to make sure that your email will look appropriate, you have the option of sending it as text-only. Text-only emails do not contain graphics or clickable links. They almost always come out looking okay. You also do not need email software or an email marketing service to send them. However, the disadvantage to text-based emails is that you do not have the opportunity to include a clickable link. Readers would have to copy and paste the link into their browser in order to visit your website. If your offer is extremely interesting to them, they will go on and take that extra step, but it is still inconvenient, even if it is for literally one second. Yet, if you must send text-based emails, there are ways to make your link more memorable and catchy, at least if it wasn't already. The exact techniques will be discussed shortly.
Once you have decided whether you are going to write an HTML versus a text-based one, you are ready to start thinking about what could be considered the most important element of your email: the headline or subject line. The headline is what determines whether or not your email will even get read. Headlines that are not attention-grabbing and/or those that look spammy will result in your email being thrown away in your subscriber's online trash bin. Examples of spammy email headlines are those that try to deceive the reader into opening them. The spammer often makes the reader think they are a friend responding through the use of RE: (which is short for regarding). They may also use headlines like: Attention: Important Information Regarding Your Account to make the reader think the email is from a legitimate service they may be a member of. Other spam emails make the reader think they've won or received something when they really didn't. Avoid these tactics because not only are they not professional, they eliminate any type of interest the reader may have had in your content. Worse, the reader may even report you for spam, regardless of whether or not they were on your email list.
So, what is the best way to write email headlines? Ultimately, you will want to captivate the reader in some way. Using the term "free" for example, will get their attention, but if you do not write it properly could make the reader think your email is spam. In fact, try to avoid using the term "free" in your email headline unless you are offering something that: 1) is a legitimate sample that truly is free and 2) is not commonly promoted by spammers. While spammers technically can promote anything, the things that are the most common tend to be sex-related sites, fraudulent work-at-home schemes and pharmaceuticals.
If your site happens to be sex-related, legitimate work at home or pharmaceutical-related, you may want to consider avoiding using the word "free", or use it in a different way. For example, if you actually did receive a free sample from the company you are promoting you could say, Learn how I received free sex toys from whatever company. This is preferable to: Free Sex Toys. While on the surface the latter may appear to get more results in practice it doesn't. First off, such a headline is more likely to put the email into the spam filter, since free is the first word. Secondly, it doesn't make a connection with the reader. A person seeing it sees just an advertisement, a person out to make a buck off of them. The other email is an advertisement, but the approach is more testimonial-like, which people respond highly to.
Another type of headline that people respond to, at least according to Yuwanda Black (who is author of Email Marketing: How to Write Headlines that Get Your Email Opened!), are those containing the word not. This is because the word "not" gets people to think a lot more than more positive headlines. It is not often they are told what to not to do to avoid certain types of things, so when they see a headline like that they are more tempted to click on it and see what the email is about. An example of this in practice could be a headline like: How to Not Get a Job. The corresponding email would talk about how not to get a job and in some form or fashion include your affiliate links, which in this case would be job-related.
Creating headlines that contain deadline information is another way to capture a reader's attention. An example could be: 50% Discount For the Next 24 Hours on such and such item, or Respond in the next 48 Hours to Receive such and such item. However, try to not use these when you first email your subscribers, because these are clearly advertisements. Establish a rapport with the reader through testimonial-like emails or informational ones. Once the reader trusts you, they won't mind as much opening up an email that is a direct advertisement.
Other headline techniques as explained by Bob Bly, (author of The Copywriter's Handbook) include: news headlines, question headline, command headline and reason why headline. News headlines announce upcoming services or products that might be of interest to the reader. Question headlines ask the reader an attention-grabbing rhetorical question, such as "How much are you spending on your mortgage?" Command headlines "demand" that the reader take action on something, while reason why headlines show why a reader should take action.
Do you still feel confused at what type of headline you should choose for your email campaign? Then you might want to consider buying software that can help you determine what your headline should be. Headline Creator Pro is an example of software that does exactly this. You start by answering only 4 questions, then the program will return 100 recommended headlines. These headlines are derived from the information you give the program and commonly used terms that have been used in successful headlines. It does all of this for only $37.
Once your headline is complete, whether you write it yourself or you use Headline Creator Pro to use it, you need to start creating your content. To make things easier, Microsoft suggests using the P.A.S.S. model created by McGhee Productivity Solutions, (also known as MPS). P.A.S.S. stands for Purpose, Action, Supporting Documentation and Subject line. Since this e-book has already discussed how to go about writing an effective subject line, (also referred to as headline), focus shall now be centered on the other elements of the P.A.S.S. model, which would be Purpose, Action and Supporting Documentation.
1) Purpose
The purpose of your email summarizes what your email is about. Most advertising emails will have the purpose of informing readers of their products or services. State your purpose in your first paragraph in your email. You could do it by simply saying: The purpose of this email is: or put it more towards the end of the first paragraph preceded by introductory sentences to arouse interest. Introductory sentences that capture attention can be quotes, humorous statements or compelling facts.
2) Action
The next portion of your email needs to try to compel the reader to take a certain action, though the actual request for an action should be put towards the end of the email. This is of course if you want a physical action from your reader. Some emails are designed where the desired action is that the reader just read the email. This is especially the case with newsletters. With this approach the marketer establishes interest through a series of newsletters, then with their final newsletter email makes the request for an action. This method takes longer, but tends to be more effective because it creates trust between the reader and the marketer.
Regardless of how or when you ask your reader to take an action just make sure of one thing: that your email contains worth while content before the request is sprung up. Do not under any circumstance create emails in which the whole content is simply an advertisement. Emails that contain messages like: This is great, click here, while meeting the requirement of requesting an action, do not make any personal connection with the reader. These types of emails usually end up being thrown away in the email reader's trash bin.
3) Supporting Documentation
Supporting documentation are attachments that help further aide in the process of the reader taking an action. It is highly common among business emails, though should be used with caution with marketing emails. This is because most email readers are not comfortable opening attachments that are from people that they do not know. Exceptions could be things that they signed up for, such as free e-books. Therefore, make sure to get a reader's permission before sending an attachment.
Do you have a good understanding of the general idea behind writing email content? With P.A.S.S. hopefully you should, but it doesn't end there. The next factor to keep in mind when writing email content is length and formatting. You want to make your paragraphs short, with no more than three or four sentences each. In terms of formatting, make sure you put spaces between each of your paragraphs, but don't put in too much because too much means excess white space, which makes an email look unprofessional.
Also, don't put spaces within paragraphs, as these should be single-spaced. Additionally, do not indent your paragraphs; make it flush up against the left margin. Most importantly, make sure you spell-check your email before sending it out. Many email providers will even let you spell-check your email as you are inputting it. Emails that are misspelled or have grammar errors are classic among spammers and are quick to be deleted, even if they contained useful information.
The final thing you should remember when writing your email content is how you list your links. If you are creating an HTML-based email, you can do what is known as "cloaking", which is basically when you provide a hyperlink within a word or phrase rather than having to list a full URL. This is especially helpful when providing affiliate links since: many people won't click on a link that they think is from an affiliate program. Even top-level domain names can benefit from cloaking, because it prompts the reader to take immediate action right there.
So, how do you go about cloaking a URL? If you are creating your HTML-based email in a word processor, HTML editor or email program, there are options available that will allow you to do this. If you want to use straight HTML, you use the following tag:
Sample"Samplelink" would represents the URL you want your text to link to while "Sample" represents your text. What would happen is "Sample" would be hyperlinked, so if it is clicked on it will lead the reader to the samplelink.com. A reader would never even know that what they are clicking on originated from an affiliate link, if of course this is the case.
What about if you are sending a text-based email? Well, text-based emails do not allow cloaking, so you will have to list a URL. If you have a URL that is short and easy to remember, then it isn't a problem, but if you are promoting an affiliate link the reader might not be interested. This is why if you have an affiliate link or really any other type of very long URL, you have to use what is known as a URL redirection service. URL redirection services allow you to create a new domain name that, if selected, will redirect the reader to the true URL. Some, like Tiny URL, are free. An example of a Tiny URL link would be: http://tinyurl.com/3bkztd. Notice, it is significantly shorter than the original URL which was an affiliate link. To use Tiny URL, you just simply enter in the original URL into a form.
There is a downside to Tiny URL, despite its convenience. Even though the URL is shorter it still has an affiliate-like look, especially with the number combination at the end of the URL. If you are using text emails and you do not want your URL to appear this way, you will need to use a paid URL redirection service. Paid URL redirection services work just like Tiny URL, with one exception: you can use a regular domain name to hide your affiliate link. Network Solutions is an example of a company that offers this type of service. At a price of $12 per domain name per year, you can register up to 10 domain names that can point to your URL. All you have to do to use this service is enter in the domain names you want and the URL you want them to point them. In the latter step, you have the option of masking the original URL. This means that the original URL won't even appear in a visitor's browser. Only the redirected URLs do.
Sample Email:
To better help you understand how to create email content, a sample email has been provided along with analysis of how it fits the guidelines you have just learned.
Subject: Are you not paying your debts?
According to USA Today, two-thirds of people in their twenties are laden down in debt. Of this number an alarming 50 percent are unable to pay their bills at all. If you are a part of this percentage, you may want to read on to learn about a way you can legally erase your debt.
How can you go about trying to delete your debt? The answer involves disputing records on your credit report. If any type of data is incorrect, or the credit card company does not have your records on file, (a scenario that occurs often), they are legally required to expunge your debt.
The best way to dispute your credit card debt is to get a law firm to do it for you. Academy Law, a law firm specializing in credit repair, can dispute your debt for a small monthly fee. To find out more about Academy Law please visit:
www.academylaw.com
Notice how the headline makes use of Yuwanda Black's suggestion of using the word "not". If a person is not paying their debts, (which unfortunately encompasses a lot of people), such a headline will get their attention. The headline also meets Bob Bly's definition of good headlines by asking a question.
The structure of the email also follows what you have learned. The first paragraph starts off with an interesting fact, meant to compel the subscriber to keep reading. The second sentence expands on this fact, while the third sentence gives mention to what the email will talk about, otherwise known as the purpose of the email. The purpose is implicitly, but if you want to state yours more directly, you are welcome. Note that although on the surface it may seem the last sentence in the first paragraph is requesting an action, (something that is normally a no-no until the last paragraph), it really isn't, because it is written in such a way to give the reader the choice to read on.
The second paragraph provides content that a person with a debt problem may not be aware of. Hopefully, after reading this paragraph they are interested enough to take the requested action, which is to visit Academy Law's website. Notice that the link at the end is not hyperlinked nor is it cloaked. If you were writing a text-based email, this is how it would appear if the browser has no hyperlinking capabilities. If the email was HTML-based the words "Academy Law" could be hyperlinked to the Academy Law website.
4 Important Things You Need To Do To Build your List
Online marketing may have developed a sudden surge these past few years, but many in the know how have felt its rise even from way then. As more internet based businesses are put up, the need to develop new marketing skills and knowledge based on this new medium have arisen. More and more marketing strategies are being discovered and developed to cope with the changing face of business the business world.
The demand for online marketing tips and strategies have drastically grown and a new form of business has been born, internet marketing strategies. While there are companies that are all too eager to help your site and business build a clientele for a fee, there also many ways that can spread the word about your sites subsistence in a more cost free way. One of this is Opt-in email marketing, also known as permission marketing.
Opt-in marketing requires the permission of a willing customer to subscribe to your marketing materials, materials that take form in newsletters, catalogs and promotional mailings via e-mail. The more opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there is to bag sales and more sales. To do this, you must build a list of all those who wants to subscribe to your opt-in marketing list.
From your list, you will get your targeted customer, this is a good list since they already have shown interest in what you have to show and sell since they have willingly signed in for your list.
These are the people who have liked what they have seen in your site and have decided they want to see more and maybe even purchase what ever product or service your company and site has to offer.
Many people would think that building their lists would take hard work and a lot of time to build and collect names and addresses. This is not so, it takes a bit of patience and some strategies but in doing this list, you open your site and your business to a whole new world of target market. Take the effort to take your business to a new level, if traffic increase and good profits are what you want, an opt-in list will do wonders for your business venture.
There are many sources and articles in the internet available for everyone to read and follow in building a list. Sometimes they may be confusing because there are so many and there different ways. Different groups of people would have different approaches in building an opt-in list, but no matter how diverse many methods are, there are always some crucial things to do to build your list. Here are four of them.
1. Put up a good web form in your site that immediately follows the end of your content. While some may say this is too soon to subscribe for a website visitors application, try to remember that your homepage should provide a quick good impression. If somehow a website visitor finds something that he or she doesn't like and turns them off, they may just forget about signing up.
A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is not hard to do. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site. Then there should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. This web form will automatically save and send you the data's inputted. As more people sign in, your list will be growing.
2. As mentioned in the first tip, make your homepage very, very impressive. You need to have well written articles and descriptions of your site. Depending on what your site is all about, you need to capture your website visitor's fancy. Make your site useful and very easy to use. Do not expect everyone to be tech savvy. Invest in having good programming in your site, make your graphics beautiful but don't over do it.
Don't waste your time making the homepage too overly large megabyte wise. Not all people have dedicated T1 connections, the faster your site gets loaded, the better. Go for a look that borders between simplicity and sophisticated knowledge.
3. Provide good service and products. A return customer is more likely to bring in more business. Even then and now, a satisfied customer will recommend a business always. Word of mouth and recommendations alone can rake in more business than an expensive ad. As your clientele roster grows so shall your list. With more members on the list, the more people will get to know about what you have new to offer.
4. Keep a clean and private list. Never lose the trust your customers have entrusted you. If you provide e-mails to others and they get spammed, many will probably unsubscribe to you. Remember, a good reputation will drive in more traffic and subscribers as well as strengthen the loyalty of your customers.

This means that bonus back link is awarded when the 1st, 4th, 7th 10th, 13th, 16th article gets posted in the gratis traffic system.
Every article written can be republished on as many as 30 sites in the Free Traffic System. This means just one article with your bonus link equals up to 30 back links from Free Traffic System. Social Networking
Social networking isn't a new phenomenon. It wasn't invented in the twenty-first century. Every Elks Lodge, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Church, Sewing Circle, Book Club, etc. that ever existed afforded an opportunity for social networking. Some social networking groups are secretive.
They have passwords and secret signals that help one member identify another member. Others may be more open but they are aware of who is and who is not a member in good standing of the social networking group.
The members of any social networking group identify with and help other members of their group. They provide information to one another that is mutually beneficial.
They tell each other when something of interest or something of concern in happening that is interest to or a threat to their particular social network and the members collectively pursue the interest or ward off the threat.
These social networking groups can be either very close knit or very loosely organized or even have no apparent organizational structure at all. The organization is of a great deal less importance to the members than the benefits that each gains from it.
Many times social networking groups are work related.
For example: you have very likely heard of the way that law enforcement personnel stick together and watch each other's backs' so to speak.
This social networking group is often referred to as "the long blue line".
Another work related social networking group is long distance truck drivers. By using their CB radios, they stay in contact with one another and warn each other of road hazards. If one of them has a problem, others go to his or her aid.
No, social networking was not invented in the twenty-first century and it didn't come into being with the advent of the personal computer.
It has been around probably since the beginning of time in some form or another but the advent of the personal computer certainly put a new spin on social networking. Web 2.0 has really kicked social networking up several notiches.
No longer is social networking limited to people who work at the same jobs or who live in the same communities. Social networking is now world wide and easily accessible to everyone who has access to a computer and an internet connection.
It all started with the advent of instant messaging technology but it has grown far beyond that limited ability. With instant messaging it was necessary to let others see your email address and so you lost much of your anonymity.
In today's Web 2.0 world, social networking and complete anonymity are both possible.
The online dating sites are a very good example of this compatibility. People can register and pay for memberships on online dating sites and conduct an entire relationship for many months without either party knowing the other party's real name, ISP email address or the name of the city in which they live.
All communication is conducted on the online dating website itself thus affording both social networking and anonymity.
There are Web 2.0 websites that are dedicated to nothing BUT social networking. One of the better known ones among the younger set is MySpace but there are at least a hundred different social networking sites on the internet and probably a lot more that that.
Web 2.0 social networking sites are divided in many different ways.
There are social networking sites that are dedicated to specific ethnicities; BlackPlanet.com is for African Americans, Babbello is for Australian teenagers, FaceBox is for European young adults, Gronco.net is for Poland, iWiW is for Hungary, Migente.com is for Latinos, Mixi is for Japan are just a few examples.
Social networking sites are also divided sometimes by interests. For example you can find such social networking sites as CarDomain for car enthusiasts, Flickr for photo sharing, Gaia for gamers, Gopets for virtual pets, Joga Bonita for football or soccer, or Last.fm for music.
These are only a very few example. There are a great many more.
Most social networking sites, however, are not dedicated to a specific group. They are general membership sites and the members themselves divide themselves into appropriate groups according to interests and compatibility.
Almost all of the social networking sites are free to join. There are just a few that have membership fees. The site owners make their money from advertisers rather than from users. A few sites are only open to those who have been invited to join by other members.
Most of these social networking sites provide you with your own blog when you join the site. You can make posts to your blog and you can invite others to post to your blog. The trick here is to also use the social bookmarking sites and upload links to your blog posts into them with the appropriate tags containing keywords.
The blogs on social networking sites are in addition to and not a replacement for blogs on your own website if you are an internet marketer and the social bookmarking sites should be used to upload links to both blogs.
Social networking is easy and it is fun. It is a way that you can enhance your online business and have a lot of fun in the process. You can meet some of your very best potential customers on social networking sites. You can make friends and influence people as well.
It has long been a well established fact that more business is actually conducted in social settings than in offices.
More deals are made on golf courses than in board rooms in the real world and more sales are made through the use of social networking sites on the Internet than through all of the paid-for advertising combined.
People HATE commercials but they don't mind hearing their friends recommend a product or service. Not only do they not mind...they even go to a lot of trouble to seek out that information.
In addition to being a great way to advertise a business social networking sites are also a great research tool and one that should never be overlooked. Rather than having to conduct a lot of expensive and time-consuming surveys for example, you can simply look through a social networking site and find out exactly what people are thinking about.
You can find out what their problems are and what measures they are taking to solve those problems. You can find out what their interests are and how they go about pursuing those interests.
By using social networking sites as research tools, you can likely get more and better information in a single hour and for free than you could get by spending hours on sending out surveys and trying to decipher the results.
One very interesting social networking site is called 43 things. That is the name of the site. On this social networking site people list their goals and then other people with similar goals discuss how to best achieve those goals.
Some goals that have been listed are learn a foreign language, be a good parent, improve my memory, get in shape, lose weight, be a better gardener and the list just goes on and on.
As a research tool it would be hard to beat 43 things to find out what people are interested in and concerned about.
Web 2.0 is great! It is driven by those who actually USE the internet and not by people who are sitting behind desks at large companies and who are out of touch with the real world.
Social networking is simply a group of like-minded people exchanging information that is of mutual interest. That is all it is and all it has ever been.
It is important that when you are using social networking sites that you remember this and conduct yourself accordingly.
If you join a site and start just posting blatant advertisements, you are not going to be doing social networking.
You are simply doing advertising...which people hate. If you establish yourself as part of a group, then you are social networking and you will find that those who are members of your online social circle are the best help you can find anywhere.
Social networking is valuable in and of itself but it can be made doubly valuable by using social networking in conjunction with social bookmarking.
Join a social networking website. Find a group of people who are interested in the topic of your website but don't start out advertising that.
Make posts to your own blog on the social networking sites as well as to the blogs of others. Add those links to your social bookmarking account. Be certain that you use the appropriate keywords in those tags otherwise they are worthless.
Altogether this is an excellent marketing strategy. It is a way to market your website and your products or services and have a lot of fun at the same time. You will meet people that you really do like and even admire and respect.
Friendships are not made for the purpose of profiting from them but they usually are profitable.
Its About Blogging

Blogging is hot right now. It might even be called a buzz word. But it is also the wave of the future for Internet marketing. "Blog" is a term that is actually a combination of two common words.
Those two common words are "web" and "log". They have been combined into the term "blog" which is short for web log.
Blogging is the result of the use of the new technology that collectively makes what is known today and Web 2.0. You will see the term "Web 2.0 websites" used frequently but what exactly does that term mean?
Back in the murky, dusty past of the Internet (a few years ago) in 2001, there was a happening that is now referred to as the dot com bust. People who had a great deal of technical know-how built websites, promoted them and made millions on speculative ideas that were not founded in reality.
The internet was a one-way street. Those who had the technical know-how to build websites posted what they wanted their readers to know and nothing more. The Internet was a relatively new thing and people bought into this one-way communication but only for a short few years.
Fortunes were made and lost overnight. There are those who blame the dot com bust on nothing more than technological break through....and it could be that they are right.
As technological advances started making building websites easier and easier, more and more people built websites and jumped on the Internet marketing bandwagon.
They began sending out millions and millions of unsolicited marketing emails daily. These emails were known as SPAM.
SPAM got so bad that the Congress of the United States actually passed the CAN SPAM act in late 2001 and it became the law of the land in early 2002. This was actually the final puncture to the already deflating Internet bubble that let the rest of the air out.
Internet marketers were required to get permission from recipients before they could send out marketing emails and many of the companies couldn't survive the blow. Those who did began building opt-in lists.
Opt-in lists are a big part (maybe the biggest part) of all successful Internet marketing operations that are alive and well today and that need for an opt-in list is not ever going to go away but it has been supplemented.
It has been supplemented by blogs. Now Internet marketers who have blogs can give potential opt-in list members the one thing they all want...a voice.
Blogs are now discussed in the same breath and given equal weight among successful Internet marketers as opt-in lists.
You can, of course, have one without the other but it is of far greater advantage to have both and a blog is one of the best ways available to build a long and impressive opt-in list.
People have been keeping journals of course for centuries but the Internet version of journal keeping that we call blogging is far different. Rather than it being just the details of a personal life or the musings of a single person, blogging is more a source of shared information today.
Blogs are dedicated to specific topics. These topics are as varied as the people who have blogs. Let's make up a fictional blog website and see how it works.
The owner of this travel blog might post the details of trips that they have taken, invite questions but those planning on making similar trips, and provide information about products and services for which they are affiliate marketers.
We all know that website traffic is one of the keys that unlocks successful Internet marketing. The secret of creating an astounding amount of traffic to a blog website is social bookmarking.
There are many social bookmarking sites on the Internet. These sites allow users to upload their favorites to lists where others can click on the links in those lists. Users are able to categorize their lists and create tags for each link within their lists.
Each time another user clicks on a link in a user's list a back link is created. As the back links multiply, indexing is accelerated.
Many of those who have created very successful (and profitable) blogs make use of such Web 2.0 advancements as RSS feeds, podcasts and webcasts to enhance and promote their blog websites.
Blog software is often part of web services but it can also be purchased separately at very low rates.
When a blog is created by a user there are many choices that must be made. The first and most obvious choice is the topic of the blog. For those who plan to monetize their blog, the choice of topic is a very critical one.
If a user is already an active Internet marketer in a particular niche market, then the choice is easy but if a user is only just beginning in Internet marketing, the choice of a topic can be a lot more difficult.
Research is necessary. It is important to choose a market that is viable. There simply will not be much money made from a topic like under water basket weaving.
One of the better ways to research and find a viable topic is by visiting other blog sites and forum sites on the Internet.
You might consider going to one of the social bookmarking sites like Delicious to find out what others are concerned about or topics for which they are seeking information.
Once a topic has been selected the next step is to actually build a blog. There are many web hosting companies out there and many of them offer blogging capabilities.
There are even web hosting companies who specialize in blogging websites. One of the better known ones is Word Press but there are a great many others out there.
There was a time when only gurus could build websites. It was necessary to be proficient in the use of HTML among many other things but that is simply no longer the case.
Web 2.0 technology now allows even novices who have never even thought of building their own website to do exactly that and to do it very quickly and very efficiently.
There are, of course, some things that one needs to know but these are things that are very easily learned and there are even blog websites that teach you how to build a blog website.
Once a blog website is up and running, then it is important to get the search engine spiders to visit the site so that it can become indexed and appear in searches made on search engine sites. This is the place where social bookmarking comes into play.
There is software out there that makes it very, very easy to list your site with many social bookmarking sites all at the same time. It can be done quickly and easily.
Owners of blog sites have learned to help each other in a sense. They can ping one another's sites and create back links for both sites that are picked up by the search engine spiders.
Web 2.0 websites are user driven unlike the old Web 1.0 sites. The owner of the blog does have control of content but he also allows visitors to his blog website to add content and some even allow content to be edited by users.
Where Web 1.0 websites were constructed so that information and ideas flowed only one way (from the website to the visitor), Web 2.0 websites allow for information to flow two ways.
Many even brand new blog website builders use RSS feeds, podcasts and webcasts to enhance their blog websites. Of course people still read but people also like to get information via audio and video.
Bloggers don't even have to record their own audio and video products. There are websites out there which will supply audio and video products...some of these are even free of charge.
The old idea that a blog is simply a web log or a journal are a little behind the curve. Blogs today are far more than that. Today's blogs are rich with information that is constantly changing.
You can find very active blogs that discuss controversial topics like politics and religion and you can also find blogs that are dedicated to nothing but pure pleasure like travel, fishing, hunting, gold, sewing, needlecrafts, boating, etc.
There are blogs that are devoted to business concerns. There are blogs about blogs. It would not be likely that you could think of a topic that holds any interest for human beings in general and not be able to find more than a few blogs that are currently discussing them.
Yes, blogging is a buzz word and it is a "hot" topic of today but it is also the wave of the future where Internet marketing is concerned.
Find a topic that you are interested in...even passionate about....and go out there and start your very own blog. If you construct the site well and if you pursue social bookmarking, you can begin to create your own online empire.

The Power Of Web 2.0 Sites
You witnessed, were a victim of or have at least heard about the bursting
of the dot com bubble in the fall of 2001. Fortunes that had been made
overnight were lost overnight.
The sky was falling. It was a very scary time for a lot of people.
Some said that the World Wide Web was just a flash-in-the-pan idea
that had been over-hyped and that the crash was irrefutable proof
of that fact.
There were, however, some survivors of the 2001 dot com bust. The
survivors had a few important commonalities and there were those
who insisted that the World Wide Web was more important than ever
and had a very bright future indeed.
One of those who saw the results of the 2001 dot com bust as a "glass half
full" rather than a "glass half empty" was a man by the name of Tim
O'Reilly. O'Reilly (of O'Reilly Media) met with Dale Dougherty of Media
Live International in 2004. Out of that meeting the term "Web 2.0" was
born.
The definition that Tim O'Reilly gives for Web 2.0 is: "Web
2.0 is the business revolution in the computer industry caused by the
move to the internet as platform, and an attempt to understand the
rules for success on that new platform.
Chief among those rules is this: Build applications that harness
network effects to get better the more people use them."
Web 2.0 can be viewed as an upgrade to the World Wide Web. It is still
the web but it is a new and improved version of the web.
New technologies such as blogs, social bookmarking, wikis, podcasts and RSS
feeds are just a few of the technologies that are helping to shape and
direct Web 2.0.
The Web before the dot com crash is often referred to as Web 1.0 now
but only since the coining of the term Web 2.0.
Some of the more obvious difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 are:
Double Click replaced by Google AdSense, Britannica Online replaced by
Wikipedia, Personal Web Pages replaced by Blogs, Content Management
Systems replaced by Wikis and Directories replaced by Tagging.
These are only a very few of the differences between Web 1.0 and Web
2.0 but they are major ones.
You will notice, if you look carefully that the commonality of many of the
differences between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 is that Web 1.0 was driven and
controlled by the "powers-that-be" and Web 2.0 is driven by users.
That is a huge difference and the one that is making Web 2.0 more and more
user friendly not to mention more and more profitable for just average
people. You might even call it a power shift of seismic proportions.
Once the websites that could be accessed on the Internet were built and
controlled by only a few and were certainly not interactive but today
anybody with an idea, a few dollars and just a little know-how can
build a Web 2.0 website that is completely interactive and turn it into
a money-making enterprise if they choose to.
The technology is there. It is easy to use. It is accessible and it is
relatively cheap....some of it is even free.
Many websites that started out as static websites are now adding features
like blogs and forums and propelling themselves into the future of
Internet commerce. Those websites
who continue be "old hat" are falling further and further behind.
Just regular people now expect to be able to ask questions and get answers
from websites and they expect websites to be at least somewhat interactive.
The Internet has always been and still is a platform for information but
with Web 2.0 is has also become a platform for participation.
Let's look at just a few of the innovations of Web 2.0 and how these
innovations have changed the way that all of use the World Wide Web:
Blogs: Blog is a term that is derived from the blending of the
two words "web" and "log", Blog. Fairly early in the history of the
World Wide Web people could build personal web pages. It is true that
not many people did build personal webpages but it was, nonetheless,
possible.
Still, these personal webpages were static websites. The owner of the
website could post information about himself or his interests but others
could only read the information that the owner of the website posted.
He could keep an online journal that he could allow others to read but
it was "read only".
Then along came technology. Blogging software was developed. Now those who
had personal websites could not only post about themselves, but they
could allow their visitors to comment on what had been posted or ask
questions. It was a huge advancement.
Because of that technology, today blogging is very big business.
People visit and post to blogs all over the Internet about any and every
subject that they are interested in and the owners of these blogs have
figured out that they can make their blogs very, very profitable indeed.
Social Bookmarking: Social bookmarking is more or less a by-product of
blogging but it is based on the same basic technology.
Social bookmarking sites such as Delicious, allow their users to upload their
own favorite site bookmarks so that everybody else in the world can see
and use those bookmarks.
When a user uploads his favorite site bookmarks into his online account,
a backlink is created to that site. When enough people click on the link,
the site that has been book marked gets indexed and gains a rank by search
engines.
It is a form of user driven advertisements that is far more successful
than any kind of paid-for advertising can ever be.
There are a great many social bookmarking sites on the Internet now and new
software is being developed all the time that makes these sites more
and more productive as advertising tools and traffic driving tools.
Wiki: A short definition of Wiki: Wiki is a piece of server software that
allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web
browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for
creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly.
In short Wiki technology allows editing of material posted on a website
by the poster or by others.
The best example of Wiki technology is action on the Internet is Wikipedia.
In the old Web 1.0 way to doing things the owner of a website had full
control over all material that was posted to the website and only
website owners could edit material posted on the website.
With the advent of Web 2.0 that idea has gone the way of the horse and
buggy.
RSS Feed: The acronym RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is yet
another Web 2.0 feature that allows the web to be driven by people
rather than by the powers-that-be. Those who use RSS content use reader
or aggregator technology. Users subscribe to these feeds.
The reader or aggregator then checks the user's website and when the site
has new content, it is picked up and sent to the user. That is a rather
simplified explanation but that is basically how it works.
A client based reader or aggregator is a stand-alone program that is attached to
an existing program such as a web browser or an email reader.
A web-based reader or aggregator makes the user's feeds available on
any computer with web access.
Podcasts or Webcasts: As broadband internet connect connections and wireless
networks become more and more common throughout the entire world, the
podcast or webcast is gaining in popularity.
While people do still read, they are better at looking and listening to information thanks to
television, hence, the advent of podcasts or webcasts.
You can find and tune into podcasts or webcasts on almost any subject imaginable
today. Those who have blogs are making use of this technology to sell
products and to promote their websites in record numbers.
Web 2.0 is definitely here to stay and those who are still trying to do things the
old Web 1.0 way are falling behind this wave of today and of the
future. Will there be changes to Web 2.0?
Well, of course, there will be. Web 2.0 is fluid and it is every changing. New technology will
be developed and as it is developed people will use it. People are,
after all, the driving force of Web 2.0.
And, you might ask, just who will benefit the most from Web 2.0? It will be those who embrace
the new technologies as they become available and it will be us...all
of us.
The internet no longer belongs to the few and the privileged. Big business has lost
its edge. The Internet and Web 2.0 has leveled the playing field.
All of us (you, me and all those who have access to the Internet) can
now compete and win.
Reduce Stress and Be Happy
Anything taken too much is bad for the health. A little stress is
actually good, as it could serve to help you function at your best.
However, stress that seems a little too much could take a physical, as
well as mental, toll to your body. Stress should be managed in order
for depression or anxiety to be prevented.
So how should you do it then? The following are tips and advice to help
manage stress.
Write it out, schedule it out.
It is best to write down everything that seems to be overwhelming. You
will find a things-to-do-list much easier to manage than having errands
all crumpled up in your head. Writing down the tasks, and putting a
specific schedule and time to do them, helps anyone manage activities
one chunk at a time. Crossing out an activity that has already been
accomplished is very rewarding and could actually help you feel more
relaxed when doing the other tasks at hand.
One at a time works.
Focus and put all your attention specifically on one task at one
time. It does not help to feel panicky about the other undone
or to-do tasks. Thinking about them only adds unnecessary stress and
could even hamper in doing the task you are attempting to accomplish at
present.
Relax and take it slow.
At least, try not to expend too much energy on activities that are
currently not priorities. This is in order for your energy to be not
easily expended on the tasks that are not that important, at least for
now.
Delegate, delegate, delegate.
You need not do everything all at once, and you need not do everything
on your own. Ask for help, get help, or pay for help. When
there is a feeling of being overwhelmed that is cropping up, hire
someone to mow the lawn or get a sitter for your children. The feeling
of being pressed to finish something on time will somehow be eliminated
if tasks are delegated. It takes a load off unnecessary worry and
anxiety. Moreover, it is easier checking up on how things are, than
worrying yourself sick doing everything on your own, all at once.
Give yourself a reward.
You deserve it. Acknowledging your accomplishments, no matter how big
or small, is an effort that is necessary before getting on to the next
tasks and activities. It reduces stress and could even make you happier
in doing the next task.
Give yourself a break.
You need it to be more productive. A ten to fifteen minute break during
your work is necessary. Go visit a cafe nearby, take a quick brisk
walk, or do anything to put your mind off work, at least for a while.
This is necessary to refresh and recharge. Believe it or not, you can
also stay in your work and sit with your eyes closed as you visualize a
peaceful landscape or a relaxing scene. This frees the stress from your
muscles and your mind.
Relax and be cool. Doing so makes you
healthier, happier, and a lot more productive.
The Right Home Business Model
There are more business models to choose from
today than ever before. That is because there are no so many
different types of businesses. You can start a full time, part time, at home or<
totally mobile, online or brick and mortar in a commercial location.
But each business requires the right kind of business
model, including the home business.
The key is to choose the business model that fits into
your plans for your business.
The right home business model will ensure that you
spend the right amount of hours each week, that you
take the right level of risks, that you are practical
in terms of your finances and that you gain the kind
of satisfaction and success that you can dream of.
First decision you have to make is how much time you
want to devote to your business. Will you decide to go
with a full time business model which means leaving
behind whatever it is you are currently doing and
devoting all your time to your new business venture?
A home business has many upsides to
it. There are
usually less risks and a lower start-up cost than a
brick and mortar business, simply because you do not
have the expense of real estate, staff, etc.
Home businesses are easily scaleable. You can make
them as big or small as you need them to be and you
will have virtually no commute. You can outsource to
keep things simple. You can hire companies to do your
public relations, warehousing, shipping and even
Start Now With These 7 Traffic Generating Strategies
Internet. Business. Profit. To fully incorporate all of these words into a successful merging you will need another word. Traffic. Every article you will find about making your website or business successful would always include the importance of generating traffic.
So, we all know that in the main of it all, traffic is the most essential thing to a successful internet based business. Aside from ensuring that you have a great product to sell, and you have your company's home organization well taken care of, it would be time to get to the nitty gritty of things, generating traffic.
If you already have a website and you think that you're not getting the traffic that you're assumed to be getting, then its time to re-evaluate. If you are competing in a very competitive market, you should always be a step ahead of your competition, increasing your website's traffic flow should have been done starting today.
Timing is very important, that's an old proverb known to everyone. But with generating traffic, you should always be on your toes and be a day ahead of everyone. Never think of today and tomorrow as a starting point for ensuring your site traffic is plenty, it should always have been today.
To help you out in generating more traffic for your website, here are some reliable ways to increase your website traffic starting from today.
1) Invest in good advertising with search engines
Google and Yahoo Pay Per Click Services provide great advertising schemes that are very truly popular and assures great traffic. Although with this reliable way to increase your traffic would cost some money. While some would run away from spending money to increase traffic, it is crucial in this case to do so because Adwords and Yahoo is the top best ways to increase your traffic.
You could see for yourself the success this search engine advertising methods have reaped rewards for so many companies. Lots of websites feature these advertising system and many have signed on to reap the benefits. Do not be left behind. Every penny is worth it with using Google's and Yahoo's advertising.
2) Exchange or Trade Links with other sites
With exchanging links with other websites, both of you will benefit from the efforts both of you do to enhance your sites traffic. When one website features another websites link, they could provide one another with the traffic one site generates. The efforts are doubly beneficial because it would seem like both of you are working to generate more traffic. The more links traded with more websites the more traffic could be expected.
3) Use Viral Marketing
Viral marketing allows you to spread the word about your company and product without any costs or if ever low costs only. This is a marketing method that can be quite devious; you can attach your business name, product or link to a certain media such as a funny video, entertaining game, an interesting article or a gossip or buzz. With this method, people get infected with the creativity and entertainment of the medium that they will pass it on to many people.
4) Search and use relevent keywords or keyword phrases for your sites content
Search engines look for certain keywords that they would show in their results page. In doing so, having the right keywords and keyword phrases are a high requirement in ranking in high in search engine results. You could write your own content or you could outsource someone to do it for you.
5) Write Articles that can lead traffic to your site
Submit articles to sites that would contain the same subject that your site deals in. If you sell car parts write press releases, post blogs and articles about cars and car parts. Attach your website description and services at the end of the article as well as the link.
6) Join forums and form online communities
Grab hold of a market and illustrate your expertise and authority. When you find a good foundation for your website, people will trust you and your website will pass on to many people and gain their trust. Traffic will certainly increase because they know that you can provide what they want and need.
7) Lastly, send out newsletters
If many people know what you are about and your existence is shared with many others, you will find a loyal traffic that can provide you with more traffic by recommendation and going viral. If you stir up the curiosity of your customers they would be pushed to help you with your traffic.

It Has Been Awhile ~ Your Business Consultant
My friends, it has been awhile since I posted to my blogs and if youare one of my faithful readers, I apologize!
I wish I could make you a faithful promise to be back more regularly
in the future, but due to the fact I am only human and experience
human emotions, sometimes they get the best of me!
What I am suppose to be doing here is giving you advice you can
depend on for running a successful online business and some of the
things addressed already, such as integrity, are the best I have to
offer!
In my opinion, the highest level of integrity can only be achieved
from a Christian world view but just because a person claims to have
a Christian world view, doesn't necessarily mean that he or she does
or that they have the integrity that it takes to run a successful
online business or any other kind of business for that matter!
On the other hand, I have seen people with integrity and also, by the
definition of many, run a highly successful business even though they
made no claim to have a Christian world view!
So why, you may ask, am I even bringing the Christian world view into
the equation on my blog?
My reply is, I profess to be a Christian and the advice I have to offer
comes from my world view as a Christian and I am often disappointed to
see some of my fellow Christians claim to do the same while at the same
time misrepresent what Christianity is all about!
Let me hasten to point out that my Christian world view isn't superior
to that of anyone else unless they have one that really isn't Christian!
In my observation, I have seen people who have been led to believe that
they are Christians, not because they are true followers of the Lord
Jesus Christ, but because they have done such and such an activity!
Sometimes the activity they have been involved with to make themselves
a Christian has little more to do with making a person a Christian
than going and sitting in a chicken house for a given number of hours
would make a person become a chicken!
I know this is a sad state of affairs that we have come to, but when
people get the idea that all they need to do to be a Christian is just
follow someone who is or claims to be a spiritual leader, and they
don't choose to study the word for themselves or develop a relationship
with Jesus, what can we expect?
Jesus said very plainly, "Whoever does not bear his cross and come
after Me cannot be My disciple." Luke 14:27 (NKJV)
We need to consider what that means!
If someone says, "Jesus said such and such" when He didn't actually
say that, and we follow them, whose fault is it?
You may answer correctly that it is the fault of the one who is
leading people down the wrong path, but if you or I are the ones who
are being led down the wrong path, what consolation is that?
The spiritual leaders who lead people down the wrong path usually
quote Scriptures, and when you look the Scriptures up that they quote
you will usually find that it is quoted exactly the way it is written!
However, they themselves may be mislead because if you will take the
time to read the context of the Scripture that they have quoted, you
may be surprised to learn they did not apply it in the way that it is
being applied in context with the meaning you get when you read the
Scripture without their input!
The thing I would like to leave with you today is, are you running
your business from a truthful Christian world view? Are you sure?
Is there anything I can do or say that will help you?
I am J.V. Lewis, your business consultant!
P.S. I am not saying we don't need pastors and teachers! I am saying
that we all need to take more personal responsibility for what we
believe and why we believe it!
Our Nation ~ A Window of Hope ~ From Your Business Consultant
Whoever you are reading this are certainly not stupid, blind, orignorant and you can't help but know that there is something going
on with our economy today that should not be happening, but exactly
what is it?
Well I have found out what it is and I'm here to tell you that things
I wasn't understanding are beginning to make perfect sense!
Something I saw happening right here in our own vicinity that I was
unable to understand is, with a lot more national unemployment than
reason would tell us is necessary, there has been a brand new bank
building built in a prominent part of down town and there have been
a number of new houses built with "for rent" signs placed out front!
Many of the new rent house still look vacant after a few months because
many single families, who might be potential renters, are among the
unemployed and getting extended benefits from the government and doing
well just to stay where they are which is, no doubt for some, out of
the question to even entertain the thought of moving into a new house!
I must admit that what I've learned gets under my skin more than just
a little bit. Its enough to make any rational person angry, but we
must hold our tempers and not let them get the better of us because
their is a way to solve this whole situation in a peaceful manner if
we can all work together in a calm and cool manner even though it goes
against every grain of our natural reactions to do so!
Instead of attempting to let you know what I've learned, I going to
simply introduce you to the source of what I have learned and let you
find out the same things I have from the same source! But I beg you
please, after you get past the initial shock, act with a rational mind
and don't allow the anger you may justifiably experience to control
your actions!
There has been enough innocent bloodshed already, we don't need any
more! The peaceful way is the only way and just such a way is being
provided, all we need to do is join the peaceful force that is already
under way!
You can find all the information you need to know about this from
people who are banning together to correct the way things have been
being done to the way they should have been being done before you and
I came on the scene!
Things didn't get this way all of a sudden, and trying to correct it
the wrong way will only cause more innocent people to suffer!
The place to go is PyraBang.Radio where we the people can decide
what we should and shouldn't sensor instead of accepting the
propaganda we get from other medias!
Take care and may God bless you to make wise decisions!

Business Consultant: Do You Know God? ~ He Knows Your
I know the first question you are probably asking is, "How does abusiness consultant come up with a title like that?"
I also know there are probably a good many Internet Marketers and
Affiliate Marketers who couldn't care less whether or not there is
a God, and if there is, they don't feel the need to engage Him in
their business!
Those are the same ones who don't give a second thought about using
His name in profanity!
By now you may be thinking I'm just one of those religious nuts who
thinks he knows a thing or two about doing business online but can't
keep his religious convictions to himself!
Okay, if that's you think, so be it! But I'm not writing this about
me, I'm asking you...
Do you know God? As I mentioned in the title, He knows you! He
really really does! When you use His name in profanity, He knows
that too! If you could carry on a converstion with Him one on
one, you could ask Him at any given moment how many hairs you had on
your head and He could give you the exact number at that very time!
Not that its all that important, but that's how much He knows about
You! Just think about it, do you remember when you were an embryo
and you were talking to God about what color you wanted your eyes to
be?
I don't think so! Who determined what color your eyes were going to
be any way? Did you make that choice? Did one of your parents? Or
did your parents have some kind of debate about it and finally one of
them won the debate and that's what determined the color of your eyes?
You get the point! My friend whether or not you want to accept it,
the fact remains you are a child of the Living God and He is still
just as concerned about you right now as He was when you were being
formed in your mother's womb!
Have you ever had anyone tell you that before? If you are looking
for something to deposit in your bank account, go and depost that!
Perhaps you should go into your bank and tell the bank teller, he or
she probably don't know that the Almighty God who created you is as
fully concerned for you right now as He was when you were being made
without your consent or permission!
So let me ask you this question! If He created you in such a
beautiful and perfect way as a tiny baby, why would He be any less
concerned for you right now than He was then? Why?
You know, the way we do business with other people, and the relation-
ships we maintain depends a great deal with the way we think about
ourselves! Don't you think that if you internalize the fact that you
are a dearly beloved child of the Living God that it will have a very
positive effect on all your present and future relationships?
And don't you think that if you see all the people with whom you do
business in the same light, that it will have a positive effect on
the success of your business?
The old saying is still true, "People don't really care how much you
know until they know how much you care!"
God asked a man named Job one time, "Where were you when I laid the
foundations of the world?" "When I got out my measureing rod to
determine the size it would be, where were you, Job?" When I put
the beach sand down for the boundry of the mighty oceans and told
the water to come to here and no farther, where were you?"
That's right, what I wrote above is not a direct quote, I paraphrased,
nevertheless, God did have that conversation with a real man who lived
and died and you can read about it in the pages of your own Bible if
you choose to!
You can also talk to God and He will hear you and answer you! Have
you ever tried it? He really does care and has a strong desire to have
a relationship with you!
Perhaps you have never been that concerned about God before because
you didn't know how much He cared! Now you do! He wants you to
enjoy your childhood! It doesn't matter if you are 100 years old,
to God you are still just a child! You see, He's known as the
Ancient of Days!
Now go enjoy your childhood and whatever business adventure you and
God decide to work out!
Business Consultant: Our Living Hope
I have been supporting Plain Truth Ministries in as much as I'vebeen blessed to afford to!
Plain Truth Ministries is a work of faith depending on the support
of those who have been blessed through their on going work!
I received a partner letter from Greg Albrecht, PTM president, the
other day that I would like to share with my readers, but to do
that I should get his permission first which I haven't done! At
the end of each daily broadcast, the PTM announcer asks something
similar to, "If you have enjoyed Plain truth ministries, why not
tell a friend?" So my motive this morning is to "tell a friend"!
The main thrust of this month's partner letter is about the living
hope we have in our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ!
It saddens me to hear people come on the air or put in print so very
often these days something to the effect that, "I'm not a God man!"
Or "I don't believe in the the God of the Bible!" and their words
are often followed by the word "but" as they go on to make their
statement of where they stand, both feet planted firmly on thin air!
It saddens me because, like it or not, and believe it or not, the
God of the Bible is the very One Who gives them the breath of air
they breath and affords them the where with all to utter such words!
But I want to make it known here and now, I'm not saddened because
I feel it is necessary for me to step in and take up for God! He
is much greater than I am and is quite able to take up for Himself!
I'm saddened because of the ignorance or supposed ignorance of the
ones who are so inclined to make such public statements! There is
a Proverb that says something to the effect, "Only the fool has
said in his heart, 'There is no God!'"
What saddens me is the fact that people making such statements
are unaware that even such statements don't change God's love for
them in the least!
He still loves them just as much as He loves me or anyone else and,
unlike us humans who are affected by the actions of others, God,
because He Is LOVE, goes right on loving even in the face of such
foolishness!
Because we live in a world where such foolishness seems to be the
in thing, I think it is good that we take time during this season
to reflect on the Living Hope that we all have in the reason for
the season, Jesus Christ!
At the beginning of Greg's partnership letter he quotes from
1st Peter!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His
great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance
that can never perish, spoil or fade---kept in heaven for you...
(I Peter 1:3-4).
In his first paragraph he says:
"Hope is to the soul and spirit what air, food and water are to the
body. Without hope, we start to die---first spiritually and
emotionally, and then physically. Without hope we have no dreams
or aspirations. Without hope, we withdraw into ourselves,
spiritually shrinking our world."
Greg then lists three things that are mentioned in the scripture
above in which God's gift of a living hope is an anchor for to our
souls.
I quote the following are from Greg's partnership letter:
"1) God has embraced us. Though we are strangers in the world (like
the original recipients of the letter) we have been chosen by God,
sanctified by the Spirit and sprinkled by the blood of the Lamb of
God, who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29)
2) God has transformed us. We are not who or what we used to be. By
God's grace we have been totally renovated, completely transformed---
we have been given a new birth (John 3:3)---a new lease on real life,
the life of the risen Lord!
3) God has given us an incredible inheritance. We are given an
inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. The year 2009
has provided ample evidence that physical treasures can be gradually
eroded by moths, corroded and tarnished by rust and stolen by thieves
(Matthew 6:19-20)."
I haven't forgotten that the mission of my Business Consultant blogs
is to give information about making wise business decisions to online
marketers and some may think that I'm moving away from the mission
I have begun, so let me assure you that is not the case!
I believe that we are to acknowledge God in all our ways and without
His blessings anything any of us can accomplish will never amount to
anything in the end any way!
We went shopping in a local Wal-Mart store last night and in the past,
the Wal-Mart stores have had Christmas music permeating the air this
time of the year, but last night I couldn't help from noticing its absence!
So what's with that?
Well, it just goes to show this is not the time for us to sit
quietly on the side lines while the spiritually blind express
their foolishness and attempt to remove our awareness of the
reason for the season!
I don't know about you, but my life is all wrapped up in Jesus,
Whom I love, because He wasn't ashamed to go to the cross on our
behalf, pour out His life's blood and die a most horrible death
just so we can enjoy all the pleasures of heaven with Him for all
of eternity!

Business Consultant: To or Not To Promote An Affiliate Website
A man asked for advice on a forum concerning whether or not to signup and use an affiliate website.
what information and or advice would you have to offer the
gentleman?
The following is my reply:
First of all, thanks for asking! Its always wise to get other peoples
opinions before jumping head long into something!
I'm not here to knock anyone's website but when you are promoting a
website for someone else, you are usually making money for them, not
yourself!
That is not to say you must have your own website in order to make
any money, there are things you can promote without having a website
of your own but just like in the off line world, there are tricks
to the trade and if you are just beginning you need to realize that
until you learn what to do and how to do it you will not make much
if any money!
What I'm telling you is, don't spend any money you don't have
expecting to make money online until you have a clear understanding
of what you are going to do and how you are going to do it! And even
then, don't spend any money you don't have! Keep your day job! If you
don't have a day job, or a source of income from somewhere, don't go
in debt expecting to pay yourself out of debt shortly by working
online!
Whatever you do on line requires a learning curve and no matter what
you've heard before, those who are making money online have paid their
dues to get where they are!
who are willing to mentor you and give you the step-by-step
instructions to follow and it is sometimes difficult to know who to
follow and who is only there to use you as their automatic teller
machine (ATM)!
Once you find someone you can trust who is doing a business you are
interested in doing, you need to determine how much money you can
budget out of your income to do the business you have determined
to go with! Go ahead and spend that amount very carefully and wisely
and not more than your set amount!
There is no question about it, unlimited income can be attained by
working online but just like Rome was not built in one day, neither
will your business be! It will take a lot of time and there will be
disappointments along the way!
In order to have a business with unlimited income you must have a
long list of people who are responsive to what you have to offer
and you have to know how to offer it to them in a way that they
will want to get whatever it is from you instead of someone else!
That is one of the strategies you will have to learn how to achieve
and you will get better at it with practice!
I hope what I've told you doesn't discourage you from being the
achiever you can be if that's what you want to do but it is better
to know these things to start with than to have to learn them from
experience!
Having said all of that, I don't know if I've answered your question
or not but as you continue to get opinions I hope I've given you some
things to think about!

<B>Best Marketing Tools:</B> What the heck is Veretekk?
This seems to be such an easy question, but when you do some researchyou find that the answers vary according to different people. You
might say it is an example of different strokes for different folks.
The reason that it is preceived as such is the fact that it is
simple in one way and sophisticated in another. I don't mean to
imply that it is complicated. It is not complicated if you eat the
elephant one bite at a time. However, if you try to take it all in
at once then get ready for a big eye opener.Tom Predergast whom I
have tremendous respect is the brain child of this tremendous
marketing system. But let's try to read a little research on what
others have said.
According to Tom Prendergast, Chairman and CEO of Veretekk who,
together with Mike Darling, President of Veretekk, built the
Veretekk system over a period of years to become the phenomenal
automated marketing system that it is today, Veretekk is comprised
of three main components: lead generation, search engine success
and live Internet marketing classes. Lets consider these
components one at a time.
http://www.whoisleeparent.com/biz/2009/01/what-the-heck-is-veretekk/
I need to comment on this because it is a huge misconception. People
go out and post ads and don't remember where they posted, then
complain when they receive emails. If you attended some veretekk
trainings, you'd learn how to turn your spam email into paying
customers.

The CrazyFoxes Marketing Group utilizes a step by step marketing
system that, when followed, will provide $200 per day and more in
income. The team is made up of seasoned marketing professionals
who provide individual and group training every step of the way,
and someone is always available in our team chat to answer
questions and provide assistance on a 24/7 basis. We utilize the
Veretekk marketing system as an aspect of our marketing
acitvities. For those individuals who may not be familiar with
Veretekk, it is the most powerful marketing system on the
Internet, particularly where lead generation, search engine
optimization and reverse marketing are concerned. As a marketing
team, our object is to promote the team as a whole so that no team
member is left behind.

Business Consultant: Multiple Income Streams on Auto-Pilot
If you've been keeping up with my blog postings, you know that Imentioned previously that I DO NOT recommend that newbies attempt
to get involved with creating multiple streams of income because
it tends to direct one's focus in more directions that he or she
is capable of and thus makes the person unable to accomplish any
advancement in any of the businesses he or she is trying to build!
However, there is a way that even a newbie can actually begin to
enjoy multiple streams of income if he or she has already chosen
to build their primary business and have a determined focus on that
business!
In the old days when farmers worked with mules and horses, they
equipped them with special bridals that included blinders!
What the blinders essentially did was give the animal tunnel vision!
It kept them from getting distracted by things other than their work
In order to be successful business people, we must dicipline
ourselves to have only tunnel vision when it comes to focusing on
the business we have chosen as our primary business!
This would apply to an off line business as well, but the main
difference is that off line distractions are not usually as prevalant
as on line distractions are!
So what is the method I recommend for a complete newbie to begin
enjoying multiple streams of income?
It has to do with delegating! What I mean is, let someone else
take a large portion of the work load!
That's what the New Rich Plan (NRR) is all about and Joel Broughton
explains it thoroughly thoroughly when you click HERE

Questions and Answers About AdSense
You've seen them on a million websites, those Google AdSense ads, and you know that people are making money by displaying them on their websites. You're thinking it's about time you started having AdSense on your website too, but you have a few questions.
Which ad format should I use?
Take a good look at how your website is laid out; can you see where some AdSense ads can be placed? You can put them within your content and/or you can place them in your site borders. Pay attention to how much room you have.
If you want to place them in your master border of your website or in a widget on your blog, the format is going to depend on how much space you have - width and length. Experiment with the different formats to see which fit and which look good.
Keep in mind that long skinny ads can be hard to read because the ad wording is all chopped up. Our eyes want to read more than 2 or 3 words before being forced to move back to the left to start a new line. According to AdSense, their best performing ads are the 336x280 Large Rectangle, the 300x250 Medium Rectangle, and the 160x600 Wide Skyscraper.
Adding AdSense to content is not as restricting and you can use any size rectangle or square ad unit. Don't just settle on your first pick though; test, test, test to figure out which placements earn you the most.
If you're really limited on space, think about using the link unit ads. They're perfect for tight fits where you'd love to place some advertising. You can use either vertical or horizontal link units.
You can use a combination of text ads, link units, and image ads, but you are limited to the number of each you can use on your site. Check AdSense's TOS for the exact number. You probably shouldn't use all that you can anyway; it can make the information on your site hard to read and lends a spammy quality to it.
Should I use image ads or text ads?
Google AdSense encourages you to use both and offers an option for that. What it means is your ad spot may be either an image or a text.
Many people argue against using image ads because it was overdone in the past and people are blind to them now. Since so many people aren't using image ads these days, perhaps now is the time to start putting them on your site.
I say, give it a try and see which perform better for you.
What colors should I use?
It depends on the colors already used on your site. Take note of the background color, font color, header colors, and any additional colors used in the content.
You have three choices:
Blend - This would be choosing a white background for the ad if your site has a white background, no borders around your ads, and the title color one of the colors on your site. If your site's words are black, but you do titles in red, then consider having your ad titles in the same red.
Complement - This means don't be as matchy-matchy as you would be if you were blending. Maybe you want a border around your ad, or you don't want the ad background color to be exactly the same as the website background color. Otherwise, you use existing colors from your site.
Contrast - Perhaps you have a website with black background and white lettering. An AdSense box with a black background won't stand out and might not be noticed. Consider a contrasting background color for the ad.
If the same people come to your site often, they may have become blind to your ads. Take some time to move them around and change colors. Not only will this help them get noticed, it tests what works best.
If you take the time to choose your AdSense ad formats and colors wisely and then experiment and test, you'll be optimizing the AdSense earnings. It's worth it to spend the time initially to find out what looks the most pleasing to the eye as well as how the number of ads look in proportion to the amount of content.

Updating RSS Directories
RSS directories are popular these days. RSS is widely used initially by news sites to allow others to syndicate their news stories. Now, a lot of other websites are using RSS. It is being used in flagging new forum headlines, auction listings, sales listings and others.
The meaning of RSS is actually not clear. RSS may or may not be an acronym, actually. RSS may stand for Really Simple Syndication. But others say its Rich Site Summary and sometimes Rich Syndication Standard. The noted creator of RSS directory would be Netscape. It was released sometime in March 1999. The included a UserLand application which is called scripting news. Netscape stopped developing it, but UserLand continued doing so. Another company, RSS-DEV Working Group also released their own version.
RSS directories are sites that collate all RSS links and place them in different categories for other applications to use. This is similar to web hosting, only instead of web pages, they contain RSS links. These links will pop out on the website and when you click it, you will be directed to the main source of the link.
RSS poses a lot of uses for those who'd like to use the Internet for marketing or commerce. Here are the things you can do with it:
Create links from their website to yours. If you are selling or promoting something, web traffic is important. The more RSS directory you upload, the more chances you have people seeing those and checking your site out. And if they have customized their sites with your RSS feeds, then they would get updated listings from your site to theirs automatically.
Collating analysis. If you have a brand and you'd like to know how your competitor is doing, you may use RSS to see what they have so far. Get a directory of their product or service so you"ll know first hand what they have come out with. With the data gathered you now can plan on how you can counter them.
Tracking your own progress. If you can check out your competitor, of course you'd like to check out too how your business or product is going too. With an RSS directory of your own, you can know how many people are interested in what you are selling or offering.
Increases productivity. Putting up RSS directories, let's say for newsletters, adds efficiency to your company. If you use RSS for sending out newsletters instead of mailing them to recipients, you'd eliminate the possibility of your letter being classified as spam by users, or being sent in a closed mail account.
Increases efficiency. There are a lot of websites or news articles that could be beneficial to your brand or company. At times, you'd like to add them to your site. Without the use of RSS, you'd have to copy the entire thing down and note where you got it. If you use RSS, then the headline and part of the story shows up on your site. And this is an automatic process now. If you use RSS, you just include the directory and automatically, the headline appears without you doing much.
Posting RSS directories could cost you some. But the benefits override it. Some sites even offer free RSS directory posting. If you are just starting up, you may like to check those out. The more RSS directory you have up, the more the possibility that you are sending out information to the people interested in your goods. Reason behind is that people will only get the RSS feeds that they are interested in. If they get yours, they sure are the target market.
Disseminating information online has become easier with RSS. The technology provided a cost-effective way of transferring facts and figures out. Utilizing it would definitely add up to your marketing approach. With it, you have an avenue of reaching out to even more people so easily.
RSS uses XML to syndicate pages. Though that sounds a little technical, there a lot of websites that has user-friendly interface to guide in building your directory. Go ahead and put up your RSS directory up now. RSS has proven to be essential. It has ceased to be an option; it has become a necessity.

Is Internet Advertising Is Internet Advertising Dominating The Web? The Web?
Recent studies are showing the Internet is being flooded by Internet advertising. Be sides the pop ups and the window advertising on the side, the Internet advertisements are all over the world wide web. Some people do a lot of complaining that the Internet advertising companies and web sites are literally taking over the Internet, they claim that every time they go on the Internet, there is some kind of Internet Advertising that comes up on their page. And some pop ups you can't stop without a really good pop up blocker.
Internet advertising can be annoying, however, it is the Internet Advertising that allows such things as game websites to run applications free. So as far as having the ability to visit websites on the Internet and access different items on the website, the Internet advertisements are necessary. If you think about it all you really have to do if you don't want to read these Internet advertisements all you have to do is close them and continue on with what you were doing its pretty much that easy to do.
However, sometimes there are advertisements you see, that do look interesting and you want to check these out. This is a good thing right? You might see some things that you need or want. Most, if not all websites have got advertisements on them, these websites have originally basically made a deals with the Internet advertising agencies online. To either have that discount or a percentage they get back for whoever clicks on the Internet advertisement on the website pages viewed,
Admittedly there are several more Internet advertisements now than when the Internet first started, internet advertisements are continually changing to meet the eyes of the public that surfs on the Internet. There's unfortunately no way around this, the Internet advertising seems to all over. So is Internet advertising taking over the Internet? Some would say most definitely, while others would say they simply say they are too annoying regardless if the website is free or not. Although the website will remain free to the Internet surfer, it's the website itself that is dealing with the Internet advertisers.
In some cases, the Internet advertising may look appealing however, they ask for so much information and one of the main things the Internet advertisement wants; is your email address. If you provide this information then you email address is filled with additional offers. It is enough to make a person want to change their email account completely because there is no way to even unsubscribe to their mailing list most often times. So you see, the simple idea of Internet taking over the web could possibly be a positive yes.
Yet, to others they don't mind. They simply don't click on the advertisements because they normally know after experience just what will happen if they do. These Internet advertisements might keep certain websites free or the website itself up and running but that doesn't mean you have to click on the Internet advertisements you see on the website.
How To Get Started With Veretekk
The Veretekk Marketing System can be used to promote any home based
business, opportunity or anything you desire. To get started, your first step is to
JOIN Veretekk at the free Silver level. As a Silver member, you can attend most of
the online training for free to learn how to use the system. Simply click on the "Join
Veretekk" link above to get started. Click Here to see the video introduction.
So, what is Veretekk and how does it work? Simply put, Veretekk is a
comprehensive marketing system that has multiple capabilities, resources and
tools. It contains built-in SEO (search engine optimization) tools to get your
websites pushed to the top of search engine results based on the keywords you
target. It also gives you the ability to generate leads for your business and
automatically grows a spam-free database of email addresses for you to market to.
Step 1 - Configure Access To Your Veretekk Email Account
After you upgrade to the Gold level, you will want to configure your Veretekk email
account. This is NOT the same as your Veretekk autoresponders - FYI. The
easiest way to do this is by creating a Google gmail account for your Veretekk
email access. If you already have a gmail account, you can use that.
If you choose not to use gmail - Click Here to see the training on how to set up
Outlook Express or the email client of your choice.
To continue setup in gmail, please log-in to your gmail account and click on
"Settings" near the top right hand corner of the page. Now, click on "Accounts"
and under this section, click on the "Add An Email Account" under the "Get Mail
From Other Accounts" Area. The username you want to enter is your Veretekk
username@justhemail.com - so for example, if your Veretekk username is
MyUserName, you would enter: MyUserName@justhemail.com . Then, enter the
password you use to log-in to your Veretekk account. The POP server is going to
be: pop.justhemail.com and set the Port at 110. Do not check any of the boxes
below that. Make sure you save these settings and at this point, your new
Veretekk email will be set up.
Gmail is ideal for Veretekk email access because gmail is configured to
automatically check your Veretekk email account several times a day. This keeps
your Veretekk inbox clear and prevents it from clogging up. From this point
forward, check your gmail account for your Veretekk email.
Step 2 - Begin Configuring Your Portals - Click Here To See How
Veretekk gives you several dozen portals (websites) that you can independently
configure. The strategy here is to decide how you want each portal to promote
and generate leads for your primary business or businesses. The goal is to
configure each portal (website) with its own unique Title, Description and
Keywords. Each portal is an independent website that is capable of drawing free
Internet traffic to it. Click Here to learn more about Portal Marketing. Take a look
at some of my portals that I have custom configured:
- Blastomatic - This portal gives away
a free ad blaster service that blasts a
classified ad to hundreds of thousands of free sites all across the Internet.
The draw here is people looking for a free way to promote their business, so
the type of traffic this portal draws is people trying to make money online,
which is exactly the market you want to attract. When they sign up for
Blastomatic and use the service, your autoresponders can then begin
marketing your business opportunity to them.
- BlogFather - This is a blog site
that provides free promotion of all created
blogs. The service is free and attracts Internet traffic from people who are
trying to promote an opportunity. Again, this is the market you are trying to
reach.
- Daily Message Online - This portal allows
people to sign up for a free
inspirational daily email and attracts a broader audience than some of the
other portals. Portals like this allow you to widen your market and appeal to
a larger group of people.
- VereTracking - This is a free website
traffic tracking program and allows
people to sign up for the service and then use it to track and evaluate traffic
to their own websites.
You will configure all of your portals so that each one is an independent website
with it's own Meta Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords. Also, be sure to
configure the 5 links in each portal. I adhere to the following structure for these
links: The first link is your primary business and the second link is the next portal
in your backoffice of Veretekk. Even if you do not adhere to the linking rules
relayed here for your other links, it is important that your second link always be the
next portal in your Veretekk backoffice so that all your portals are "daisy-chained"
together. This is important because when search engines "spider" your portal
websites, they follow every link on the page. If all of your sites are "daisy-chained"
together, then all of your Veretekk portals will be "seen" by the search engines.
The third link is your secondary business while the fourth link is one of your profit
portals in Veretekk like Leadsomatic or VereConference and the fifth link is
another business or link you are trying to promote. Each link should be a primary
keyword. Take a look at the 5 links in the portals I list above as an example. Each
link is a keyword and if you click on that keyword, it will link to the site I am
promoting. Click Here for training on "The Drill" to promote your portals.
Click HERE to see the Training related to understanding how keywords work and
the importance of doing it right for your marketing efforts.
Step 3 - Submit Each Portal Using Several Submission Tools
After you custom configure each portal, it is vitally important that you submit each
portal using a few different free tools:
- Leadsomatic - Click HERE for a free Training on how to use Leadsomatic.
- SubmitExpress.com - This is an independent
third party free submission tool
that submits your websites to over 40 different search engines including
Google, Yahoo, MSN and a few key directories. You will need to manually
submit to Yahoo and MSN on the confirmation page, so be sure to carefully
read through the submission page after you submit for directions on how to
do that. Use the Veretekk email address for each portal when you submit
each portal site because you want to get your multiple Veretekk email
addresses out there and attracting email. Veretekk captures the email
address of every incoming email and then begins sending them your custom
autoresponder emails!
Why submit your portal websites? The answer is simple, if you want free traffic to
your portals or any website you are marketing, you must submit them to the search
engines for inclusion. Also, the more minor search engines your website is visible
in, the more likely it is to be included in the major search engines. The results are
not immediate and take time to be included and ranked - be patient - sometimes it
takes months to develop a website portal before it begins generating free Internet
traffic.
Step 4 - Submit Your Website Portals To Multiple Directories
This is an important step because search engines give websites ranking points if
they "see" the sites in directories. In other words, if you want high ranking in
search engine results, you need visibility in many different directories. The best
known Directory of course is DMOZ.org and it is also the hardest directory to be
included in. However, there are thousands of directories, so do not fear!
Following is a list of directories and a paid submission services I use:
- Directory Maximizer - This is a paid
submission service that can submit your
website portals to over 1,000 directories with one click. It is user friendly,
effective and turnkey. I use it often and it is well worth the money because
of the time it saves you. This Free e-Book explains how to use it.
- List of Free Directories - A listing of several
hundred free individual
directories you can submit to one at a time. While it is free, it is time
consuming to manually submit to each directory.
Step 5 - Write Your Custom Auto-Responder Campaigns - See How HERE
Also known as the "Sequential Mail Sets", this is the heart of your Veretekk
marketing system. You can set up custom autoresponder campaigns to market
your businesses or anything you want. More training HERE and HERE on this.
More Training
It is a very good idea to watch all of the Training Modules in your Veretekk
backoffice. To do this, login to your Veretekk backoffice and click on the
"VereTraining" link in the top right hand corner of the page. Then, click on the
"Training Modules" link in the left-hand column. Notice that a list of several video
training modules are available for viewing at your convenience.
So How Does All Of This Work?
Veretekk attracts web traffic and generates leads in two primary ways:
- Your website portals that
provide valuable services and attract traffic.
- You want all of your Veretekk email addresses
to be on as many email lists

Turning Every Visitor Into A Subscriber
But the bottom line is that your visitor may not come back to your website again. If 1,000 visitors visit your website, leave and never come back again, you can imagine the amount of potential revenue lost, simply because they do not come back. You could have converted a fraction of the visitors into your customers.
Some may say that producing unique content can keep some of the visitors return, but very often, unique content is not the fix the problem. The real, long-term solution lies in turning your visitors into subscribers of your mailing list.
Before your visitor leaves your website, you want to want them to sign up as your subscriber by a simple opt-in to your mailing list. You do this by asking for your visitor’s name and email address through your opt-in form.
And if your visitor signs up to be on your mailing list, you can still follow up with him by email. You can get your subscriber to read your offer, or endorse another offer to them.
All in all, you want to turn as many visitors into subscribers as possible and obtain the potential revenue you rightfully deserve – the easy, wise way.
